Give the gift of reading this Christmas season!

Do you remember what it was like to receive a book for Christmas? Perhaps it was Harry Potter or one from Dr. Seuss, whatever the story, think back to how you felt unwrapping that book ignited a passion for education, mystery or adventure.

Unfortunately, not everyone is lucky enough to experience that feeling for themselves. Research has shown that 61% of low-income families have no age-appropriate books in their homes. Children in those families may not know what it is like receive a book they can call their own.

With that in mind, Maury C. Moose is running a week-long Buy 1 Give 1 Sale!

This Christmas season, you not only have the chance to buy a fun book for friends and family, but you also have the opportunity to help a child in need. For every Maury C. Moose book sold through Amazon between Nov. 30th and Dec. 6th, I will be donating a matching copy to a child who can really use the book.

You buy a book and I’ll give a book. It is just that simple. You get your book just as you would from any other Amazon purchase you would make, only this time, a child in need is also a given a book thanks to your generosity.

My goal is to donate 100 copies. That means I am going to need your help. Knock out your Christmas shopping early and together we can reach the goal of giving the gift of reading to many kids who otherwise would not have access to a book of their own!
